My name is Delfina Ruete. I am 17 years old, born in 2009. I am Argentine and I live in the city of Necochea, Argentina.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish, which is my native language, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 11 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Club Rowing de Necochea.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team includes my father and coach Ricardo Andres Ruete, along with my fitness coach Damian Pavesse.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train in two sessions every day. In the morning, I train tennis from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and physical preparation from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. In the afternoon, I train tennis again from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM and technical fitness work from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my forehand, and I want to continue improving all aspects of my game.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U18 category and I am currently ranked No. 15 in Argentina. Last year, I finished as Argentina’s No. 3 player in the U16 category.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements include winning two consecutive National doubles titles, winning COSAT singles and doubles titles, reaching the doubles final of a J30 tournament, and reaching the semifinals of a J30 event in Chile.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Argentina, the United States, Uruguay, and Chile.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to break into the Top 1000 in the ITF Junior rankings and earn my first WTA point.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to reach the top of the WTA rankings and play at Roland Garros.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Rafael Nadal because I have admired him since I was a child, and he is also a left-handed player like me.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy resting and spending time with my friends.
