What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Daniil Karamanukyan. I was born on October 7, 2016. I am from the Russian Federation and I live in Omsk, Russia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Russian, Armenian, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was six years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the first tennis player in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I do not train at a club. I train with a personal coach under contract.
Who is your coach?
My coach is Igor Vl. Bulda.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I consider my strengths to be a diverse arsenal of shots, tactically varied play, and a good feel for the ball. My coach believes that I can show character and strong moral and volitional qualities. I need to keep improving all my shots, stability from the baseline, footwork and balance, and psychological resilience.
What is your age category and ranking?
In the Russian national RTT U10 rating, I am ranked No. 10. My UTR is 4.41, which is No. 1 in Russia U10.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far is winning first place at the Global Ten-Pro U10 international tournament in Georgia in August 2026.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Russia and Georgia, and I have a tournament coming up in Armenia in October.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I use Nike and Adidas sneakers and clothing, and a Babolat racket. I do not have any sponsors yet.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to be better than I was yesterday.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to become the ATP World No. 1 player.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Novak Djokovic. I like the variety in his playing style, the consistency of his play, and his mental strength.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy wind tunnel flying, the best in Siberia, and table tennis.
