What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Abril Esther Flores. I was born in 2014. I am Dominican.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and a little English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was eight years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, there are other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Esperanza Racket Club.
Who are your coaches?
I have several coaches.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strengths are my backhand and serve. I need to improve my smash.
What is your age category and national ranking?
For now, I play in U14 and U12, and I am ranked No. 2 in U12.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include playing COTECC tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
For now, I have only played tournaments in the Dominican Republic.

I do not have sponsors yet, but I play with Tecnifibre and Head equipment.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to represent the Dominican Republic in another country.

My tennis dream is to become a professional tennis player.

My favorite players are Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff because of their talent and because they always stay active on court.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like playing volleyball and playing the piano.
