My name is Anastasia Lupu. I am 8 years old, born on November 27, 2017. I am Romanian and I live in Ploiești, Romania.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Romanian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only one in my family who plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Asociația Roland Bucov, where I continue to develop both as a player and as a person.
What is your coaching team?
My coach is Eugen Petcu, who guides me every day and helps me improve.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day for approximately 3 to 4 hours, following a structured program that includes technical, tactical, and physical preparation.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my determination and fighting spirit. I always try my best and never give up. I want to improve my consistency and become stronger physically.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U10 category. In 2025, I became Romanian champion in Tennis 10 MPG – Red level, and I am currently ranked among the Top 40 players in Romania in the U10 category.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements include winning the Super Tournament of Champions in Tennis 10 MPG in 2025 and winning a Romanian Tennis Federation U10 tournament when I was only 7 years old.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only played tournaments in Romania, but I hope to compete internationally in the future.
Do you have any sponsors?
I do not have any sponsors at the moment, but I am open to partnerships and would love to represent brands that believe in my potential and long-term development.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to improve my level, gain more competitive experience, and achieve strong results in higher-level tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to win Roland Garros and become a Top 10 WTA player.

I would love to meet Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka because they are strong and inspiring players.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing, drawing, and having fun.
