My name is Sofia Calvo Tababary. I am 13 years old. I was born on November 13, 2012. I am Bolivian and I live in Beni, Bolivia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother also plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Club de Tenis Trinidad.
What is your coaching team?
My training team is Equipo de Tenis Trinidad.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train from Monday to Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I am an attacking player. My greatest strength is my forehand, and I need to improve my serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Girls’ U14 category and I am currently ranked No. 2 in Bolivia.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements include winning national championships, playing two South American Championships, preparing to compete in another one, and taking part in the COSAT Cup, the qualifying event for Wimbledon.
