What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Adriana Carranza. I was born on December 8, 2009. I am from Caracas, Venezuela.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and a little English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started competing when I was 13 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at the Venezuelan Tennis Federation.
Who are your coaches?
I train with Academia Román Recarte.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my backhand, and I need to improve my serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the 18 and Under category, and I am ranked No. 2 nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far was reaching a final at an ITF J30 tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Colombia and Aruba.

My favorite player is Aryna Sabalenka because of her aggressive game. She is my example to follow.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy going to the gym.
Who would you like to dedicate this interview to?
I would like to dedicate this interview first to my parents, because thanks to their support I have been able to progress in tennis. I also dedicate it to Academia Román Recarte, who support me every day and help me become better, especially coach Miguel Prepo.
