My name is Abel Flesch. I am 11 years old and I was born on December 22, 2014. I am from Budapest, Hungary.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Hungarian, and I am learning Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was six years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad plays tennis, and my mom and stepfather recently started playing too.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Pasarét Tennis Club in Hungary.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Bence Poos and Daniel Becze. My fitness coach is Ákos Tóth, and the leader coach of my club is Zsombor Tóth.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train five times a week. On Monday, I have two hours of tennis. On Tuesday, I have two hours of tennis and one hour of fitness. On Wednesday, I have a one-and-a-half-hour private lesson and sometimes two hours of training in the afternoon. On Thursday, I have two hours of tennis. On Friday, I have two hours of tennis and one hour of fitness.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strengths are my forehand and drop shots. I need to improve my footwork and my mental game.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I play in the U12 category in Hungary, and my national ranking is No. 24.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far is winning a championship in doubles.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only played tournaments in Hungary, including international tournaments. I have also visited academies in France and Croatia.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not have any sponsors yet, but I dream of having a Nike or ON sponsorship.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to reach around No. 15 in the national rankings and get good results in major tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to win Roland Garros.

Outside of tennis, I enjoy playing padel and doing many other sports.
