🎙️ Viktor Antic | Interview, July 2026

Introduce yourself: Name, Age, Date of Birth, Nationality, City of Residence
My name is Viktor Antic. I am 12 years old and I was born on July 7, 2014. I am Serbian, from Niš, where I live and train.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Serbian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at nine, a little over two years ago. I came to tennis late compared to most players, and I have never tried to hide that.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my younger sister plays too. She is 10, and we are both in this. It is not just my journey in the house; it is a family one.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Teniska Akademija Živković in Niš.
What is your coaching team?
My coach at the academy is Damir Parmac. My conditioning coach is Mihailo Ćirić.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train five days a week, on and off the court, with tennis sessions on court and separate physical work three times a week with my conditioning coach.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My forehand and serve are my main weapons. But my biggest strength overall is that I compete on every ball, whatever the score. What I need to improve most is my consistency under pressure, and that is what I work on hardest.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in U12 and U14. In the Serbian Tennis Federation ranking, I am No. 45 in U12 and No. 99 in U14.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
This year, I played my first Tennis Europe U12 event, reached the main draw in singles, and made the quarterfinals in doubles. Last year, I was part of the Teniska Akademija Živković squad that finished runner-up at the U14 national team championship.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only played tournaments in Serbia. Playing a Tennis Europe tournament in another European country is exactly the step I am chasing this year.
Do you have any sponsors?
Not right now. I do not have any sponsors yet.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win a tournament on the TSS circuit, play more Tennis Europe events, and earn my first U14 Tennis Europe ranking.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to become a professional tennis player and then an Olympic champion.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Carlos Alcaraz because of his personality and the way he plays. He smiles a lot on court, and I see myself in that.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Skiing comes first, as that was my first love before tennis. I also enjoy playing games on PlayStation, spending time with my friends, and getting adrenaline from rollercoasters and adrenaline parks.
Who would you like to dedicate this interview to?
I would like to dedicate this interview to my family and my coaches, who have been there from the first day.
