My name is Vasiliki Liagkridoni. I am 16 years old and I was born on March 29, 2010, in Greece. I have lived in Athens, Greece, since 2014.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Greek and English very well.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old because of my grandmother, who worked at the tennis club.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Every member of my family, except my brother, has played tennis as a hobby.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Γ.Ο.Π Palaskas Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Thodoris Stathopoulos and Thomas Skaltsogiannis.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day for 2 hours and go to the gym 3 days a week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my serve and my forehand. I need to improve my mentality.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in Girls U16, and I am currently ranked No. 10 in Greece.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far was finishing second at a Tennis Europe tournament in Larissa five months ago, even though I had not played a Tennis Europe tournament for a year.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only played tournaments in Greece, but I would like to play abroad in the future.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to finish first at the Masters.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to reach the Top 8 in the WTA rankings and win Roland Garros.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
My favorite tennis player is Serena Williams because I admire all the hard work she has done, and I really like her playing style.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like shopping, meeting my friends, and cooking healthy meals.
