Meet Tomi Jakimovski, Macedonian boy junior tennis player who lives in Skopje, North Macedonia and competing in U12 and U14 tennis categories. Tomi is ranked number 1 in North Macedonia in U12 and competes in international Tennis Europe tournaments.

Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi! My name is Tomi Jakimovski, born on November 26, 2013.
I’m Macedonian, and I live in Skopje, North Macedonia 🇲🇰.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Macedonian, English, Serbian and a little German.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 5 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
No

In which club do you train tennis?
I train at Teniska Akademija Aerodrom

Who is your tennis coach?
My tennis coach is Filip Mitrevski and my fitness coach is Veljko Gjorgjievski.

What is your weekly training routine?
I train 4 times individual — 4 times group and 2 times fitness.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My greatest quality is my forehand and I need to improve my serve.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
My junior category is U12 where I’m ranked #1 and U14 where I’m ranked #11.

What has been your greatest achievement?
My best success is the U12 National Championship 2025 where I won the first place 🏆.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I played in Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey, Albania and Greece.

Do you have any sponsors?
My parents, for now.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win U14 tournament.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to be in the top 100 tennis players in the world.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite players are Stefanos Tsitsipas and Jannik Sinner.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I like to play and watch football and I like watching F1.
