My name is Thiago Benavides Flórez. I was born on March 13, 2018. I am 7 years old and I am from the city of San Juan de Pasto in Nariño, Colombia.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Spanish and I am learning English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I have been playing tennis since I was 4.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
My dad and mom play tennis, and my younger sister is following in our footsteps.

What club do you train at?
I train at Club Colombia Pasto.

Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Fernando and Cristian Saavedra.

What is your weekly training routine?
I train 3 hours every day, Monday through Friday.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My greatest quality is my dedication and responsibility. I have a good drive and serve.
I need to improve my emotional management on the court.

What is your junior category and national ranking?
I compete in the Orange Ball category from 2017 to 2018.

What has been your greatest achievement?
Becoming champion in the most important tournament in the country called CHIQUITINES 2025, and being among the top 10 tennis players on the tennis and values ​​circuit.

In which countries have you already played tournaments?
In Ecuador, in the Nicola Lapenti tournament.

What is your goal for 2026?
To be the best tennis player in my category.
