My name is Stella Kobzieva. I was born on August 6, 2012, in Sievierodonetsk, Ukraine. I am Ukrainian and currently live in Dresden, Germany.
What languages do you speak?
I speak German, Russian, and Ukrainian fluently. I am currently working hard on improving my English, which is already at a good level, and I am also learning Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old. One of the coaches who had a great influence on my development was Yuliia Belimgotova from Sievierodonetsk, Ukraine. She taught me a lot, helped me develop as a player, and gave me a strong foundation for my tennis journey.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my father used to play tennis. I saw him playing, became interested in the sport, and wanted to try it myself. That is how my love for tennis began.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at SV Dresden Mitte 1950 e.V. and Sportpark Dresden.
What is your coaching team?
My main coach is Stefan Dรถrfert.
What is your weekly training routine?

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my fighting spirit, determination, and aggressive baseline game. I never want to give up and always try to fight until the last point. I would like to improve my serve, consistency, and transition to the net.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U14 age category and I am currently ranked No. 70 in the German DTB U14 national ranking.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my greatest successes include winning the Steigerwald Open U16, becoming Saxony U10 State Champion, reaching the semifinals of the Tennis Europe Pisek Open U12, reaching the doubles semifinals at the Tennis Europe Koblenz Junior Open U12, and achieving several finals and podium finishes at German national tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have played tournaments in Germany and the Czech Republic. At the moment, I am mainly focused on the German national circuit. My goal is to reach the Top 10 in Germany before competing more regularly in international tournaments.
Do you have any sponsors?
I am currently in discussions with several potential sponsors and hope to begin long-term partnerships in the near future.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to continue improving my game, gain more experience at national tournaments, and move as close as possible to the Top 10 of the German national ranking.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play on the WTA Tour, compete in Grand Slams, and become one of the best tennis players in the world.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
My favorite players are Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka. I admire Cocoโ€™s speed, athleticism, and fighting spirit. I also love Arynaโ€™s powerful and aggressive style of play, her strong mentality, and her determination on the court.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, travelling, listening to music, and learning new languages.
