What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Stefanie Ystmark. I was born on September 12, 2016. I have Estonian and Norwegian nationality, and I live in Tallinn, Estonia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Estonian, Norwegian, English, and Russian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was just two years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my twin sister Alex also plays tennis. Our dad is our tennis coach, and our mom competes in club tournaments. Tennis is a big part of our family life.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Top One Tennis Club in Tallinn, Estonia.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are my dad, Len Ystmark, Andrev, Movses, and Julia.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my powerful shots, strong technique, and aggressive playing style. I love playing fast, attacking, and taking control of points. I want to improve my tactical understanding, learn to control my emotions better, and maintain my highest level throughout an entire match, with fewer ups and downs.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I have just turned 10 years old and am currently ranked No. 16 in Estonia in the U12 category. I compete in GP12 tournaments against players who can be almost three years older than me.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my greatest achievements so far is winning the Estonian GP12 tournament, Group 2, at just 10 years old.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Estonia and Greece.
What equipment brands do you currently use (racket, string, shoes, clothing…), and are you sponsored by any of them?
I play with Yonex tennis equipment. My main sponsor is SeaStorm Boats.
What is your next goal?
My goal is to have fun playing tennis, enjoy every moment on the court, and become the best player I can possibly be.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to become the best tennis player I can possibly be and see how far my passion for tennis can take me.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Rafael Nadal because of his fighting spirit, incredible power, and determination. He never gives up and always gives everything on the court.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Besides tennis, my biggest passion is horse riding. We have our own horse and have already won horse riding competitions. I have always loved sports and started with baby swimming when I was very young. I have also practiced swimming, kickboxing, judo, dancing, fitness, and running. I love being active, competing, and learning new skills.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my mom and dad, who always support us in everything we do.
