My name is Sofiia Bobrovska. I am 14 years old and I was born on October 28, 2011. I am Ukrainian and I live in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Ukrainian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was six years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Tennis Club ACE.
What is your coaching team?
My tennis coach is Artur Gunchak.
What is your weekly training routine?
I usually train every day, twice a day, except Sunday. My day includes a morning warm-up from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., tennis training from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., stretching for 30 minutes, physical training from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and tennis training from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by stretching again. On Sundays, I run and have a massage.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I have a strong serve, and I am also a technical and variable tennis player. I think these are my strengths, but I still need to work on my foot speed.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U16 category and I am ranked No. 31. I now mainly play Tennis Europe and ITF tournaments, and I am not currently playing Ukrainian tournaments.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have won three Tennis Europe doubles titles and reached singles semifinals in Tennis Europe tournaments. I also won many national tournaments in 2024 and 2025, but in 2026 I decided to focus only on Tennis Europe tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Estonia, Finland, Moldova, Poland, Ukraine, and Spain.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win a Tennis Europe U16 tournament in singles and doubles, and reach the Top 100 in the Tennis Europe ranking.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to win Wimbledon and leave my name in tennis history.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to play against Linda Noskova because her tennis style is similar to mine. I would love to play against her on the Wimbledon court because I love fast tennis, and I think it would be an interesting match.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I have a hidden passion for music. I love rock music and I play the guitar. I also like to listen to music with headphones in an empty room because it relaxes me.
