My name is Sebastian Escobar Villarreal. I am 15 years old and I was born on February 4, 2011, in Quito, Ecuador. I am Ecuadorian and I live in Quito, Ecuador.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 11 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad also plays tennis and has been a great inspiration for me.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Academia Top Tenis Cumbayá in Quito, Ecuador.
What is your coaching team?
My team consists of two physical trainers and five tennis coaches, who help me improve every day.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., combining on-court work and physical preparation.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I consider myself a very fast and consistent player. I need to keep improving my aggressive game.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Boys 16 category and I am currently ranked No. 18 nationally. After finishing runner-up at the National G2, I hope to continue climbing the rankings.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievement came in 2026, when I won the singles title in the Boys 16 category at the COSAT G4 tournament held at Quito Tenis y Golf Club.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Peru.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to qualify for the Ecuador Absoluto, where the best players in the country from each category compete.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to earn my first ATP point.

I would like to meet Carlos Alcaraz because of his competitive mentality, humility, and the passion with which he plays every match.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like traveling and spending quality time with my family.
