My name is Nikita Potapov. I am 15 years old and I was born on March 26, 2011. I live in Moscow, Russia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Russian and English. I also plan to study Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I first held a racket when I was three years old, but I started playing tennis when I was six.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my younger brother also plays tennis. He is 12 years old.
In which tennis club do you train?
Right now, I train at the Moscow Tennis Academy and also personally with a coach.
What is your coaching team?
My coach is Piven Alexey Grigorievich.
What is your weekly training routine?

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I am left-handed. I have a strong forehand, a strong backhand, and a strong serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I am 15 years old and I am starting to play ITF tournaments this year. In Russia, among 15-year-old players, I am ranked No. 23.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include winning first places in national championships. I am also a member of the Moscow team.

I have played tournaments in Türkiye. My next scheduled tournaments are in Cyprus and Armenia.

No, I do not have any sponsors yet, but I am open to collaboration.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal is to become a leader among young men.

My tennis dream is to become the best and most popular tennis player in the world and win Grand Slam tournaments.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
My favorite player is Roger Federer because I like his mentality and the variety in his game. He is a model player, and by adapting his qualities to the modern game, I believe you can become World No. 1.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I play football in the evenings with friends in a team we created. I also really like travelling and discovering new countries.
