My name is Mathilde Mateus. I am 12 years old and I was born on August 7, 2013, in Poissy, France.
What languages do you speak?
I speak French fluently and a little Portuguese.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
My brother and my father occasionally compete in tennis tournaments.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at STC Sartrouville.
What is your coaching team?
My team includes two coaches, a mental coach and a physical coach.
What is your weekly training routine?
I spend a lot of time playing games and working on match situations to improve my competitive skills.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my mentality and my fighting spirit. I need to improve my consistency.

I compete in the 13/14 age category and I am currently ranked 15/2 in France, just a few points away from reaching 15/1.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievement so far is reaching the final of the National Tennis Cup in 2025.
