My name is Mariam Jorjikia. I am 9 years old, born on January 17, 2017. I am from Georgia and I live in Tbilisi.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Georgian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I had my first tennis lesson when I was 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only tennis player in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I practice at Guram Tokhadze Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My tennis coach is Nukri Tsertsvadze and my physical training coach is Gio Shamatava.
What is your weekly training routine?
I practice seven days a week. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I have two hours of tennis and one hour of physical training. On the other days, I practice two hours of tennis, and on Sunday I train for one hour.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I am a fighter and I fight until the end. I need to improve my serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
My age category is U10, but sometimes I also play U12. In my age category, I am ranked No. 1 in Georgia.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far was winning both singles and doubles at the Antalya Rising Stars U10 international tournament when I was only 8 years old.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Georgia and Turkey.
Do you have any sponsors?
I do not have any sponsors yet, but I receive strong support from my tennis club.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win many tournaments in Georgia and abroad.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become World No. 1.

I would like to meet Aryna Sabalenka because she is the best tennis player in the world.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like drawing and playing football.
