What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Mariam Ghannam. I was born in 2015, I’m British and I live in Indiana, USA.
What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad, grandpa, and sister play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Schwartz Tennis Center in Indiana. Back in Scotland, I trained at Giffnock TSH Club.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are my dad and Tim Madden.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strengths are my serve and backhand. I want to improve my volleys.
What is your age category and national ranking?
My age category is U12.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far are winning a Grade 3 national tournament in Scotland and staying in the Top 3 in the West of Scotland for two years.

I have played tournaments in Scotland, England, and the USA.
What equipment brands do you currently use (racket, string, shoes, clothing…), and are you sponsored by any of them?
I currently use a Babolat tennis racket, and I love my Wilson and On Cloud shoes. For clothing, I wear Nike and Lululemon. I would love to be sponsored by any big sports brand.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to win Level 2 and Level 3 tournaments in the USA.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to win a Grand Slam like Wimbledon.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Novak Djokovic because he has the greatest backhand of all time.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy playing basketball and drawing.
