My name is Manvel Aghayan. I am 14 years old, born on October 31, 2011. I am Armenian and I live in Gyumri, Armenia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Armenian, Russian, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my father is a coach, and my older brother is also a professional tennis player.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at the Gyumri tennis courts.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team consists of my father and my older brother.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day except Sunday. My schedule includes 2 to 3 hours of tennis practice daily, along with regular fitness and physical training.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strengths are my strong foundation and competitive mindset. To continue improving, I need more match practice and greater international tournament experience.
What is your age category and ranking?
I currently compete in the U16 category. My highest Tennis Europe ranking was No. 336, and I was previously ranked No. 2 in Armenia in the U14 category. I am currently ranked No. 3 nationally in Armenia.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far was finishing runner-up at the Development Championship in Antalya, Turkey.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have competed in Armenia, Turkey, and the Czech Republic.
Do you have any sponsors?
I do not currently have sponsors, but I am actively seeking partners to support my tennis career.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goals for 2026 are to reach the Top 200 in the Tennis Europe U16 rankings, win multiple titles, and break into the Top 2000 of the ITF junior rankings.

My dream is to win Roland Garros and become an Olympic gold medalist.

I would love to meet Rafael Nadal because he is my idol and a major source of inspiration.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy watching football and studying the history of my country.
