My name is Madelyn Lefholz. I am 10 years old and I was born on May 28, 2016. I am American and I live in Overland Park, Kansas.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was three years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad, my mom, and my little brother all play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Elite Tennis and Wellness.
What is your coaching team?
Jason Diehl is my tennis coach, Alex Hug is my strength and conditioning coach, and Lauren Poole is my mental coach.
What is your weekly training routine?
I practice tennis Sunday through Friday. I do strength and conditioning on Mondays and Wednesdays, meet with my mental coach on Tuesdays, and go to physio on Wednesdays.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength is that I work hard and never give up. I want to keep improving my serve and my mental game.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the 12U age division, and my current USTA national ranking is No. 709.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Winning multiple USTA singles and doubles tournaments has been really exciting. I also love travelling to tournaments and challenging myself against strong players from around the country.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have competed in tournaments in the United States.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to keep improving every day, compete in more tournaments, and become a better tennis player.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play professional tennis, compete in the Grand Slams, and become one of the best players in the world.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Elena Rybakina because she works really hard and stays calm and mentally strong during matches.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy riding my bike, playing with my little brother, and travelling with my family.
