What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Luiza Sana. I was born on August 11, 2011. I am Brazilian and I am from Carazinho, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was eight years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
My city does not have a tennis academy, so I train with my father at clubs with courts in the city. I represent Grêmio Náutico União from Porto Alegre in competitions, so I often train there as well.
Who are your coaches?
In my city, I train with my father. When I am in Porto Alegre, I train with the coaches from the high-performance team.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I have a good serve and forehand. I think I need to improve my physical condition.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I turned 15 this year, so I am in my first year of 16U. However, in tournaments I am currently playing only in the 18 years category, nationally with CBT and internationally with ITF. Next month, I will also start playing professional tournaments. My national ranking in 18 years is No. 31.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include becoming Brazilian 18 years singles champion at GA 2026, 18 years doubles runner-up at an international J30 in 2025, 16 years doubles runner-up at the Brasil Juniors Cup 2026, and Brazilian 16 years singles champion in 2026.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Chile.
What equipment brands do you currently use (racket, string, shoes, clothing…), and are you sponsored by any of them?
I use Babolat rackets and I do not have a sponsor. Tennis at Grêmio Náutico União is sponsored by Joma, so I wear Joma clothing in tournaments where I represent the club.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to earn points on the professional circuit and win ITF tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?

My favorite female player is Victoria Azarenka, and my favorite male player is Novak Djokovic.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like traveling with my family and playing guitar and piano.
