Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Luis Govela and I am 10 years old.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Spanish and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at age 5.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Not professionally, but my whole family plays.

In which club do you train?

I train at the Deportivo EspaΓ±ol.

Who are your coaches?

My main coach is Lalo Amor, besides Ray and Gabo.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train tennis 5 days a week for 2 hours. On Mondays and Wednesdays I also train soccer.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My greatest strength is that I compete with a lot of intensity and I don’t give up. I need to keep improving my backhand slice.

What is your age category and your national ranking?

I compete in the U10 category and I am currently ranked 3rd nationally in Mexico.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

Winning a National Grade 1 tournament πŸ™‚

In which countries have you played tournaments?

So far I have only competed in Mexico.

Do you have any sponsors?

What is your goal for 2026?

To win a National Championship.

What is your tennis dream?

My favorite player is Carlos Alcaraz.

I like to play soccer.
