My name is Kike Rueda Vasquez. I am 11 years old and was born on May 2, 2015. I am Ecuadorian and I live in San José de Ancón, Ecuador.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and I am currently studying English.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my grandfather Gonzalo used to play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Salinas Country Club.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train two hours a day, six days a week, with one day of rest. I also complete one hour of physical training.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my serve. I would like to improve my backhand and my movement around the court.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the 11-year-old category and I am currently ranked No. 14 in the Ecuajunior rankings.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have reached the semifinals in my last two tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only competed in Ecuador.

I would like to meet Roger Federer because he is my favorite player. He inspires me with the way he played, his discipline, and the respect he always showed to others.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I enjoy playing the guitar, playing video games, and spending time with my family.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my mom, my dad, and my sister because they are always by my side. They help me when things are difficult and celebrate my achievements. I am grateful that they believe in my dream and for everything they do for me.
