My name is Ajla Jasarevic. I am 15 years old, born in 2011. I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina and I live in Sarajevo.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Bosnian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
My dad plays tennis occasionally, but there are no professional tennis players in my family. I hope to become the first one.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at TK Jas, the tennis club owned by my father.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team consists of my tennis coach and my fitness coach.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train six days a week, with one day dedicated to recovery. I also complete fitness training four to five times per week. Every day, I work hard and try to give my best.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my powerful serve and forehand. I do not focus on one specific weakness because I try to improve every aspect of my game every day.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U16 category and also play ITF tournaments. I am currently ranked No. 4 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my greatest achievements include spending a week training at the IMG Academy in Florida and winning several tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have competed in several countries. My favorite places to play outside Bosnia and Herzegovina are Croatia and the United States, especially Florida.
Do you have any sponsors?
Yes. I am sponsored by MSV for strings and grips, and I hope to find more sponsors in the future.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win more tournaments, earn more ITF points, and continue enjoying tennis.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player, win a Grand Slam title, and enjoy every moment on the court.
Which players would you most like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Aryna Sabalenka because she fights like a tiger on the court. I would also like to meet Novak Djokovic and receive advice from one of the greatest players of all time.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
