My name is Karina Marchenko. I am 14 years old, born on January 3, 2012. I am Ukrainian and I live in Lviv, Ukraine.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Ukrainian, English, and a little Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my little sister and my father also play tennis a little.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at TC Dynamo.
What is your coaching team?
My coach is Olena Vichegzhanina.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train tennis six times a week for 1.5 hours per session and go to the gym five times a week for 45 minutes.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my forehand and strong mentality. I need to improve my serve.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and was previously ranked No. 27 nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have won several major national tournaments and reached the quarterfinals of Tennis Europe tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have competed in Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goals are to reach the Top 100 in Tennis Europe, win a Tennis Europe tournament, and compete in Super Category events.

My dream is to become World No. 1 and win the Australian Open.

I would most like to meet Novak Djokovic because he inspires me the most.

Outside of tennis, I love singing and writing songs.
