🎙️ Isabella Majewska | Interview, June 2026

Introduce yourself: Name, Age, Date of Birth, Nationality, City of Residence
Hi! My name is Isabella Majewska. I am 10 years old and I was born on January 11, 2016, in London, England. I am Polish and I currently live in Kołobrzeg, Poland.
What languages do you speak?
I speak both Polish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I was introduced to tennis when I was around 7 years old. At first, I attended fun group sessions where we played games and learned the basics. At that time, I was more focused on gymnastics and other sports. After deciding that I didn’t want to continue gymnastics professionally, I started taking tennis much more seriously. Since I was 9 years old, tennis has become my main sport, and I have been training hard ever since.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
There are no tennis players in my family, but my older sister used to play tennis and has always supported me on my journey.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Baltic Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
I train with a few male coaches who help me improve different parts of my game. They sometimes change depending on what I need to work on, and each coach brings something different to my training. I also play a lot of sparring matches, which help me gain experience and improve every day.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train almost every day. My schedule includes both group and individual tennis sessions, as well as sparring matches. Every week, I complete around 9 hours of individual tennis training alongside my other practices. After training, I often continue working at home in my garden. I do agility ladder exercises, jumping drills, coordination exercises, footwork training, and other activities that help me move better on the court. I enjoy staying active and always try to do a little extra to improve.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I think my greatest strength is my determination. I always keep my goals in mind and I never want to give up. Even if I don’t win a tournament, I still want to go back on court, work harder, and keep improving. I love competing and learning from every match.

The thing I need to improve the most is experience and consistency. I know that the more matches I play and the more I train, the better I will become.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I currently compete in both the U10 and U12 categories. One of the achievements I am most proud of is being ranked No. 4 in Poland in the U10 category. In the U12 category, I am currently ranked around No. 90–100 in Poland. My ranking changes regularly as I play tournaments and earn points, so I am always working hard to move higher.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Winning the Team Talentiada competition is definitely one of my biggest achievements so far. I am also proud of all the tournaments, trophies, and matches I have played because every experience teaches me something new and motivates me to keep going.

Another achievement that I am very proud of is being selected for the PZT Talent Identification Programme (PIT PZT). I have also taken part in several talent development camps, where I had the opportunity to train with other talented young players, gain experience, and learn from different coaches. It was a great experience and helped me grow both as a player and as a person.

Another achievement that means a lot to me is competing in the U12 category. Many of the players are older, taller, and more experienced than I am, but I can still compete with them and play good matches. This gives me confidence and helps me grow as a player.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have played tournaments in Poland. In the future, I would love to play tournaments in England and in many other countries around the world.
Do you have any sponsors?
Not yet, but I hope that one day I will have sponsors who will support my tennis journey.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to keep improving, gain more experience, and move higher in the U12 national rankings. Most importantly, I want to enjoy tennis and continue learning every day.
What is your tennis dream?
My biggest dream is to play at Wimbledon and hopefully win it one day. I know it is a very big dream, but I am willing to work hard for it. I would also love to reach the later stages of other major international tournaments in the future.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would most like to meet Elena Rybakina. I really like how calm she is on the court and the way she plays. I think there is a lot that young players can learn from her.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy staying active. I love gymnastics, Pilates, karate, meditation, and trying different sports. I think doing different activities helps me become a better athlete and keeps things fun.
Who would you like to dedicate this interview to?
I would like to dedicate this interview to everyone who has helped me on my journey so far. Thank you to my parents, my sister, my club, my coaches, my training partners, and everyone who supports me and believes in me. I would also like to thank the photographers who capture special moments from my tournaments and training sessions. Your support means a lot to me.
