My name is Alexandra Irina Anghel. I am a Romanian tennis player and I currently live in Romania.

I speak Romanian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only tennis player in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Marica Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team includes Patrick Grigoriu and Antonescu Vasile, along with my brother, Anghel Mihai, who is my fitness coach.
What is your weekly training routine?
My weekly routine includes daily tennis training, fitness sessions, match practice, and recovery work. I focus on improving both my physical and mental game.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my ability to stay calm in difficult situations and adapt to different opponents and playing styles. I am working on improving my consistency, reducing unforced errors, and making better decisions under pressure.

I compete on the professional circuit. My current rankings are around No. 550 in doubles and No. 1140 in singles.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far has been reaching professional rankings and competing in international tournaments, which have given me valuable experience. I have also reached several doubles finals, which are important milestones in my development and motivation to keep improving.

I have competed in several countries across Europe. In general, I choose tournaments based on my schedule and budget, focusing on opportunities where I can gain the most experience and continue improving my game.

My dream is to play in all four Grand Slams and compete against the best players in the world. I also hope to build a name for myself in tennis and inspire young players to follow their dreams and never give up.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would most like to meet Novak Djokovic because of his incredible discipline, mentality, and longevity at the highest level of tennis.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside the court, I enjoy spending time with my friends, doing fun activities, and going for runs. I also like trying new things and learning new skills, both in sport and in life.
