I am Imane Touhami. I am 14 years old and I was born on February 4, 2012. I am Algerian and I live in Bordj El Bahri, Algiers.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Arabic, English, and a little French and Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of four.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at O.C.R. Tennis Club in Rouiba, Algeria.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Tayeb Benyounes
and Walid Meissoum.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train four times a week, with each session lasting between two and three hours.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My forehand is my greatest strength. I need to improve my backhand.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U14 category. My current Algerian national ranking is No. 3, and the new ranking places me at No. 1 nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes have been winning numerous national championships and earning a place on the Algerian national team. On the ITF Junior Tour, I have reached the quarterfinals.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Algeria and Egypt. Inshallah, I will compete in Tunisia this summer.

No, I do not currently have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to achieve further success, especially in ITF tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to become a great player.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would most like to meet Carlos Alcaraz because, in my opinion, he is currently the best player in the world. I would love the opportunity to meet him and get to know him.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I am an outstanding student and I study hard.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my parents because they are the ones who have sacrificed the most for me.
