What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Habiba Habib. I was born on February 10, 2009. I am from Egypt.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Arabic, English, and a little bit of French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was nine years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my sister plays tennis and she inspires me a lot. She is a huge part of the player I have become.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at El Ahly.
Who is your fitness coach?
My fitness coach is Sherif Abdelmoneom.
What is your greatest strength as a player?
My greatest strengths are my serve, drop shots, and my ability to play all around the court.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in Under 18, and my current national ranking is No. 3.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my greatest successes include winning matches against a few Top 100 players, but I believe my biggest success is being able to bounce back from many setbacks.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments all over Africa, including Togo, Cameroon, Madagascar, Kenya, Nigeria, and Algeria, as well as in the United States.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I play with a Yonex Ezone racket and PolyTour strings. I usually wear Nike shoes and clothes. Unfortunately, I am not sponsored by any of these brands.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to break into the ITF Top 100 so I can play a Junior Grand Slam.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to achieve what I have always wanted: become World No. 1 and win Wimbledon.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Roger Federer. His style, elegance, and flow on court are unmatched.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I love hanging out with my friends and family, reading, and doing different sports.

I would like to thank my family and coaches for everything. I would also like to dedicate this interview to my friend Camala, who recently passed away.
