My name is Gaston Calderon. I am 10 years old, born on December 6, 2015. I am American-Ecuadorian and I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 5.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my father also plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Fit Tennis Academy.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Felix Insaurralde and Juan Carlos Garzon. I also train one-on-one with my dad.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train 5 days a week with a mix of group classes, semi-private sessions, and individual practice with my father.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my forehand. I need to improve my patience on court.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U12 category. My ranking combined is #2234 and for Florida #282.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success has been the constant improvements I have made in both my performance and attitude. Winning trophies also adds to that success.

So far, I have competed only in the United States.

Not yet. For now, my parents are my biggest supporters.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal is to play my best, challenge myself, and compete in tournaments in another state or country.

My dream is to earn a college scholarship through tennis and see where the sport can take me.
