My name is Daria Strogalshchikova. I am 14 years old and I was born on June 25, 2012. I live in Berlin, Germany.
What languages do you speak?
I speak German, Russian, and English, and I am learning Spanish at school.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was five years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
My mom played tennis as a teenager, but nothing special.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at SCC Berlin.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Mariella Petzi and Mats Oleen.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strength is fighting until the last point. I would like to improve stepping into the court and being more aggressive.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U14 category. I am ranked No. 2 in Germany and No. 49 in Tennis Europe.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes include reaching the singles semifinals at the Super Category Maia tournament, winning doubles at the Super Category Düren tournament, and becoming team vice European champion.

I have played tournaments in many countries, including Germany, Russia, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, Spain, Poland, Denmark, France, and Cyprus.
