Hello, introduce yourself please.Hello, my name is Christian Bartsits. I am 7 years old. I was born on the 23th August 2018.
I’m from Gagra in the Republic of Abkhazia.What languages do you speak?I speak Abkhazian of course, also Russia and I learn English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started tennis lessons when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?No, I’m the only tennis player in my big family.
In which club do you train?I train at Gagra Tennis Club, Abkhazia.
Who are your coaches?My coach is Rodin Beiia.
What is your weekly training routine?I train 3 hours a day, 6 days a week which makes about 20 hours a week.
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?My greatest guality is sense of ball and I’m working at improving my footwork.
What is your junior category and your national ranking?I’m the second in the category U11.
What has been your greatest achievement?I’m the winner and prize winner of an Orange Ball and a Green Ball.
In which countries have you already played tournament?I already played in Russia.
Do you have any sponsors?No, I haven’t .
What is your goal for 2026?My goal is to prepare the official tournaments outside Abkhazia.
What is your tennis dream?My tennis dream is to win all 4 Grand Slams.
Who are your favorite tennis players?Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Roger Federer.
What do you like to do outside of tennis?I love playing chess and swimming.
