What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Ceylin Oz. I was born in 2010. I am Turkish and I live in Antalya, Türkiye.
What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Turkish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old. I have been playing tennis for about 12 years.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my older sister also plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Atik Tennis Club.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Çağlar Amir and Nico.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My serve is one of my biggest strengths. I think I need to improve my mental game, especially staying calm and confident during difficult moments in matches.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the 16 age category, and I am currently ranked No. 16 nationally in Türkiye.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my biggest experiences was playing in the qualifying draw of a WTA 125 tournament. I was also runner-up in singles and won the doubles title at the JWTS International Youth Tournament. At the Antalya J60, I reached the quarterfinals in doubles. I also reached the quarterfinals in both singles and doubles at the Sadi Gülçelik Cup.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Türkiye, Ukraine, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
What equipment brands do you currently use (racket, string, shoes, clothing…), and are you sponsored by any of them?
I currently use Wilson for my racket and Nike for my shoes and clothes. I am not sponsored by either brand.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to get into an American college.
What is your tennis dream?
My biggest tennis dream is to become a professional tennis player and compete at the highest level internationally.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Roger Federer. I admire his technique, elegance, mentality, and the way he played tennis. He is a great inspiration for me.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, traveling, and relaxing.
