My name is Carmen Lobo. I am 15 years old and I was born on October 5, 2010, in Madrid, Spain. I am Spanish and I live in Madrid.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish, English, and a little bit of French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing standing tennis when I was nine years old, and wheelchair tennis when I was 13.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother plays tennis, but just for fun.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at the Tennis Federation in Madrid.
What is your coaching team?
I have many coaches, including Ramon Velasco, Carlos de Hortega, and Ana Salas.
What is your weekly training routine?

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My mentality is my greatest strength, but it is also something I need to keep improving.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in junior wheelchair tennis, and I am currently ranked No. 10 in the world in the junior girls’ wheelchair category.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
In doubles, I have won titles at Les Petits As 2026, Arnhem House of Tennis 2025, Città di Forlì 2026, and Amjoy Cup 2026. In singles, I have not yet won an ITF tournament, but I have reached finals at the Amjoy Cup 2026, Cruyff Camp 2026, ITF Leuven, and ITF Città di Forlì. I also played the Junior World Team Cup for Team Europe, won all five of my singles matches against Top 10 players, and helped the team finish third in the world.

I have played tournaments in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, and Germany.

No, I do not have any sponsors yet.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to play the US Open.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to play Roland-Garros.

My favorite player is Carlos Alcaraz because I love his attitude and personality.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy going to the cinema with my friends and going to restaurants with my family.
