My name is Aroosha Baanu Rooholamini. I am 11 years old. I was born in 2015 and raised in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Farsi, with a bit of French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
When I was three, my mom put me in different sports like tennis, gymnastics, basketball, and others. When I turned eight, she told me to choose one sport to start a career in, and I chose tennis.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No one else in my family plays tennis, but my mom used to play basketball. She was on her varsity team in high school and also played in college.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My dream and mindset are to become the best version of myself through tennis by working hard, staying humble, and never giving up. I want to keep improving every day and inspire others to believe that with dedication and perseverance, anything is possible.

I play in U12 and U11, and sometimes U14.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success is probably winning two categories in Hungary, U12 and U11. I won eight matches in a row without dropping a set.

I have played tournaments in Hungary, Spain, and the USA, and soon there will be many more.
Do you have any sponsors?
I do not have any sponsors yet, but hopefully I will soon.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal is to keep improving every day, work hard, stay humble, and never give up.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become the best version of myself through tennis and inspire others to believe that with dedication and perseverance, anything is possible.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
My favorite player is Jannik Sinner because he is humble like me and has such a good poker face. When I am losing, I do not show emotion. I keep a straight face and try to fight back, just like Sinner. When I am winning, I do not show much emotion either; I just show my fist and keep playing my game.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I really enjoy swimming and I am very good at it. A swim coach once told me that I am really talented and was born to be a swimmer.
