My name is Angelina Kolm. I am 18 years old and I was born on April 2, 2008. I am German and I live in Hamburg, Germany.
What languages do you speak?
I speak German, Russian, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was ten years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my little sister also plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I practice at the Schleswig-Holstein Tennis Association and play league matches for TuS Lübeck.
What is your coaching team?
My coach is Eugene Tseplyayev.
What is your weekly training routine?
I try to train both tennis and fitness every day. Once a week, I have a private session with my coach. On the other days, I either train at the association, play on my own with my sister, or spar with other tennis players.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

I compete in the U18 category. I am ranked No. 44 nationally in U18 and No. 223 in the women’s national ranking.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievements include several victories at the No. 1 position in the women’s Nordliga, finishing runner-up at the U16 State Championship, and winning several ITF matches.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Türkiye.

No, unfortunately I do not have any sponsors so far.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to compete in my first ITF Women’s tournaments, earn my first ITF ranking points, and continue improving my national ranking.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to compete against the best players in the world and play at Grand Slam tournaments.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
My favorite players are Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka. I admire Alcaraz because he fights for every point until the end, reaches incredible balls, and always makes tennis exciting to watch. I admire Sabalenka for her aggressive style of play and incredible power.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, going shopping, and trying different sports.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my family, especially my parents, who have always supported me and invested so much time and money to help me achieve my goals, as well as everyone who supports me on my journey.
