Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Amanda Victoria Uribe Alvarado. I am 16 years old. I was born on June 19, 2009. I am Venezuelan and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 6 and began competing at 8.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my younger sister also plays tennis.
In which club do you train?
I train at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
What is your coaching team?
I train tennis at the Alejandro Cerúndolo Academy and do fitness training with the Advantage Team Pro.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train from Monday to Friday with 2 hours of tennis and 1.5 hours of physical training each day.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strengths are my discipline and technique. I need to improve my concentration under pressure and learn to better manage mistakes during matches.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in the U18 category and my current national ranking is No. 4 in Argentina.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements so far include being a regional champion and a semifinalist at national level.

I have played tournaments in Venezuela and Argentina.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to improve my UTR ranking, stay within the Top 10 in Argentina, and strengthen my mindset on court.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player and reach a ranking that allows me to compete in Grand Slams.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Jasmine Paolini because she is a great role model. Her results despite her height inspire me, and I admire how she competes against taller players.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and my main hobby is reading.
