My name is Changduo Sun, also known as Frank. I was born on November 25, 2010. I am Chinese and currently live between Fiji and China. I represent Fiji in competition.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Chinese, and I am currently trying to learn French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 12.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I currently train at KDV Tennis Academy in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, and Li-Zhe Tennis Academy in Shenzhen, China.
What is your weekly training routine?
When I train full time, my weekly routine is usually 5 to 7 hours per day, except on Sundays, which are my day off, and Saturdays, when I only train for 2 to 3 hours.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my mental game and serve, but I still need to improve everything because there is so much to learn.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U16 category and my peak ITF ranking is No. 2702.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far was finishing third in U16 at the Pacific Oceania Junior Championships. I also earned my first ITF points last year and recently played the first week of J30 Lautoka, earning 2.5 points.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
Fiji is the country where I have played the most tournaments, followed by Australia. I won the U16 Fiji Open title, the B Grade Menβs Doubles Fiji Open title, and the Sanford J100 title in the Australian ranking system.
Do you have any sponsors?
I currently do not have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to reach the ITF Top 1000.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to win an ATP title, such as an ATP 250, 500, or 1000, and maybe even a Grand Slam.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy playing drums and electric guitar, taking part in school activities such as debates, and going on bike rides.
