Hello, introduce yourself please.I’m William Sturner, aged 11. June 21, 2014 born in NYC, USA.
I’ve have also lived in Connecticut, Florida and North Carolina.At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing at age 2 years old taking lessons but was born to play!
Are there other tennis players in your family?My dad played division one at Boston University. My brother Cameron age 9 plays golf tournaments.
In which club do you train?Chapel Hill Tennis Club and Lake Nona Country Club.
Who are your coaches?Brian Copice, Pedro Estrada and Todd Smith.
What is your weekly training routine?I train 3 hours a day with 1 being physical training.
What is your junior category and your national ranking?Ranked 40 in Tennis Recruiter for grade 5 in nation.
What has been your greatest achievement?Finalist for Bobby Curtis Florida State Championship for 10 and Under Singles.
Winner of International Little Mo Doubles and winner of numerous tournaments including the LTP Open for singles and doubles.
Represented USA in Dubrovnik Bowl International championships and got finals of doubles and won back draw winning 7 singles.In which countries have you already played tournament?I have played in Croatia, Spain, France and UK.
Do you have any sponsors?Yonex for rackets and string and 3Aces for clothing. Yonex rackets and string are amazing and love the brand and 3Aces is a new clothing company in America focusing on junior tennis players. Awesome colorful, fun, clothing.
What is your tennis dream?To play at Wimbledon on Center Court.
Who are your favorite tennis players?Carlos Alcaraz and have gotten to hit with Chris Eubanks, Caroline Dolehide and Fanny Stollar so big fans of them.
