Hello, introduce yourself please.Hi! My name is Vladislava Shek, I’m 13 years old, I’m Kazakh, and I’m from Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
What languages do you speak?I speak Russian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at age 4.
Are there other tennis players in your family?No.
In which club do you train?At the Karaganda Tennis Federation.
Who are your coaches?Peter Nesterov.
What is your weekly training routine?Two hours of tennis, one hour of general physical conditioning.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My forehand, serve, and baseline game are good, but I need to improve my volley.
What is your age category and your national ranking?Age 14-16 and ranked 68th nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?Winner of the U16 TE, finalist of the U14 TE, winner and finalist of a national tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?Turkey, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Greece, Georgia, Malta, Albania.
Do you have any sponsors?No. I don’t have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?My dream for 2026 is to win a top-level tournament.
What is your tennis dream?My tennis dream is to achieve the Calendar Grand Slam.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis players are Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?I enjoy spending time with my friends and building with Lego.
