Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Sara Garaeva. I am 9 years old and I compete in the under-10 category.
I am from Azerbaijan and I live between Baku, Azerbaijan and Moscow, Russia.What languages do you speak?I speak Russian, Azerbaijani, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at the age of 5.
Are there other tennis players in your family?No, I am the only tennis player in my family, but my family always supports me.
In which club do you train?I train at a competitive tennis academy and I regularly participate in tournaments.
Who are your coaches?I work with professional coaches who help me improve my technique, movement, and match strategy.
What is your weekly training routine?I train six days a week. I have tennis sessions, matches, strength training, and footwork drills.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My greatest strength is my fighting spirit. I always give my best in every match. I would like to improve my serve and be physically stronger.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I compete in the under-10 category and I am the Azerbaijani national champion.
What have been your greatest successes so far?Winning the national championship in my age category.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I have participated in tournaments in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Russia.
Do you have any sponsors?At the moment, I don’t have any official sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?My goal for 2026 is to improve my level, win more tournaments, and participate in more international events.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to become a professional tennis player and win Grand Slams.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis players are Aryna Sabalenka, Novak Djokovic, and Carlos Alcaraz, for their power, mental strength, and fighting spirit on the court.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
