Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Rosario Jurado, I am 13 years old, and I was born on May 18, 2012. I am Argentinian, and I live in General Roca (Rio Negro).
What languages do you speak?I speak Spanish, English, and a little French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at age 4 and began competing at around age 7.
Are there other tennis players in your family?My brother used to play tennis, but he stopped a while ago. My dad gives physical training classes to children who play tennis, and to adults.
In which club do you train?I train at “La Chacra Tenis” in Cipolletti (Rio Negro).
Who are your coaches?My tennis coach is Sebastián Carro, and my physical trainer is Sebastián Mangini.
What is your weekly training routine?Right now I’m in preseason training, so I train Monday through Friday. From 8:30 to 10:30 I play tennis, from 10:30 to 12:00 I do physical training. After that, we have a break for lunch, and then we train tennis again from 2:30 to 4:00.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My strengths are my forehand and my defense, and I need to improve my attack because I play more defensively, but I need to attack more.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I am in the under-14 category. My national ranking is 3.
What have been your greatest successes so far?My greatest achievement was reaching the final of the G1 COSAT Chile Mitta Open.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I have played in Chile, Peru, and Paraguay, and the week of March 9th I will play in Brazil.
Do you have any sponsors?My sponsors are Le Coq Sportif and Solinco.
What is your goal for 2026?My goal is to compete more than last year and play in an ITF tournament.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to play in a Grand Slam, mainly Roland-Garros.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis players are Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?I like music, playing guitar, ukulele, and drums.
