Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Lejna Bajrami, and I was born on April 9, 2015.
I am from Kosovo and live in Prizren.What languages do you speak?I speak English, Bosnian, and Albanian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started to play tennis when I was 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?My older sister Dejla also plays tennis — she’s the reason I started, and she inspired me a lot!
In which club do you train?My tennis club is called Kalaja.
Who are your coaches?My first coach was Durim Morina, then Muhamed Zulji, and finally Arbin Koro.
What is your weekly training routine?I train 5 to 6 times a week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My greatest strengths in tennis are my backhand and my fighting spirit. I need to improve my serve and my physical strength.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I play in the under-11 and under-12 junior categories. My national ranking in the under-11 category is 1.
What have been your greatest successes so far?My greatest tennis achievement is receiving the “Young Hope of the Year” award three years in a row. This award is given by the Kosovo Tennis Federation to the best players of the year.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I have participated in tournaments in Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
Do you have any sponsors?I don’t have a sponsor yet.
What is your goal for 2026?My goal for 2026 is to improve my game and participate in more tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to become world number 1.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis player is Sablenka.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?Outside of tennis, I enjoy dancing and acting.
