Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Lea Bertos, I’m 13 years old, Croatia.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Croatian, and I’m learning English and Italian.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at 5 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, my father is a coach and my brother Rene is very good also.

In which club do you train?

My tennis club is Tennis Club Kastav

Who are your coaches?

My father Ronald Bertos and Nino Juračić.

What is your weekly training routine?

Every day, once a day for one and a half or two hours.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My greatest strengths are speed, agility, and ball striking. I need to improve in all areas, but especially so I can play matches without fear.

What is your age category and your national ranking?

I have just started my U14 career and I am ranked 142th in Europe and second nationally.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

My greatest achievement is having won the Tennis Europe U12 championship title in Poreč and having finished second at the national level.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

I played in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Hungary, Romania, France, UK, Italy.

Do you have any sponsors?

My tennis sponsor is Dunlop.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal is to improve and play well in every tournament.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to become the best tennis player in the world and win a lot of Grand Slams.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Novak Djockovic and Serena Williams.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

I like to hang out whit my friend.
