Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Junhao Yang. I am 13 years old, I was born on August 10, 2012. I am Chinese and live in Wuhan, China.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Chinese and currently learning English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at the age of 10.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

No. But my father was a boxer and is now a world champion coach. My mother was a volleyball player.

In which club do you train?

Team Wuhan.

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Chun Xie, Xing Lu, Yuxiao Jia.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train six days a week, from Monday to Saturday afternoon. I train tennis for 2 hours and physical conditioning for 1 hour every day.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

I am an aggressive style player. My greatest strengths are serve, baseline rallies and net volley. I need to improve my serve return.

What is your age category and your national ranking?

I play in the under-14 category, ranked #5 in Hubei.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

I won the runner-up title in my first official tennis tournament – Wuhan City Juniors Tennis Tournament.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

Only in China.

Do you have any sponsors?

Of course, internationally renowned brands Dunlop and Lotto are my sponsors. I’m proud to be the first & only Chinese junior player sponsored by Dunlop and Lotto.

What is your goal for 2026?

I have two goals for 2026. The first is to reach the national TOP-20. The second is to win an ITF-J30 champion.

What is your tennis dream?

I want to reach the ATP top 10 and win a Grand Slam title.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

Besides tennis, I also like basketball and boxing.
