Hello, introduce yourself please.

I’m Giorgia Gadaleta, I was born on April 25, 2013.
I live in Molfetta, Italy.

What languages do you speak?

I only speak one language: English

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at the age of 5

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, my father and my sister.

In which club do you train?

I train at the Barletta Tennis Club.

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Flavio Piazzolla, Francesco Faggella, and Federico Migrone.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train every day except Monday.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My strong point is my backhand and also my forehand volley. The areas I need to improve are my serve and volleys.

What is your age category and your national ranking?

I’m 13 and I’m among the top eight in Italy and I’ve been called up to the national team

What have been your greatest successes so far?
  • Quarterfinals at the Italian Championships
  • Winner of two Next Gen: Lanciano and Foggia, second in Fiuggi
  • Semifinal at the Tennis Europe tournament in Bari
In which countries have you played tournaments?

I’ve played in Austria and in many regions of Italy. I dream of playing in New York at the US Open.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal this year is to reach the semi-finals or finals at the Italian Championships and to get a good result at the Tennis Europe Junior Tour.

What is your tennis dream?

Becoming world number one.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite tennis players are Aryna Sabalenka and Roger Federer.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis I like to travel and spend time with my friends.
