Hello, introduce yourself please.Hi, my name is Capri Butera I am 13 years old. I was born July 8 2012.
I am American and I currently live in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA. I grew up in Pittsburgh PA.What languages do you speak?I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?There are no other tennis players in my family.
In which club do you train?I train at Smith Stearns Tennis Academy.
Who are your coaches?–
What is your weekly training routine?I train about 4 hours a day of tennis plus 2-3 hours of fitness.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My greatest strength is my serve and my forehand. What I can improve is to continue to be more disciplined with my shot selection.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I play U14 and my national ranking is 22.
What have been your greatest successes so far?My greatest successes have been 3 silver balls and 1 gold. Also making the semifinals of my first tennis Europe Cat 1 tournament. Lastly qualifying for Les Petits As.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I have played in the United States, Great Britain, and France.
Do you have any sponsors?I am sponsored by Solinco, KSwiss, and Precision Fuel and Hydration.
What is your goal for 2026?My goal for 2026 is to win a few ITF’s and to qualify for a junior Grand Slam.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to play NCAA Division 1 Tennis and Professional.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis players are Sabalenka and Sinner.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?Outside of tennis I like to build Lego’s, I like to go shopping, and I love spending time with my family.
