Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Benjamín Psetizki, I am 11 years old, I was born on February 19, 2014.
I am Uruguayan and I live in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Spanish, which is my native language, and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I liked this sport from a very young age. I started playing at home when I was 3 years old, and at 5 I joined the club where I train. At 8 years old, I participated in my first tournaments in the Under 10 category.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

There are no other tennis players in my family.

In which club do you train?

I train at the Club Bigua de Villa Biarritz.

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Roberto Pavesio, Gabriel Macagno, Fabrizio Santero, and Andrés Bartoloméo (physical trainer).

What is your weekly training routine?

I train Monday through Friday, 3 hours a day.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

I am passionate about tennis, I enjoy playing, and I always try to improve myself. I need to improve my physical performance.

What is your age category and national ranking?

I am a first-year Under-12 and finished this year ranked #3 nationally. In 2026, I will start ranked #1.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

My greatest success is having competed for a place to represent Uruguay in the 2025 South American Championship.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

In Uruguay and Brazil.

Do you have any sponsors?

Yes. Genesis and Head Uruguay.

What is your goal for 2026?

I would like to represent Uruguay in the South American Under-12 Championship and start competing in COSAT South American tournaments.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to turn professional.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite tennis players are Nadal, Federer, and currently I like Alcaraz.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

I like going to the stadium, playing with friends, spending time with my family, among many other things.
