Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Andrea Sarai Barco Puente, I am 14 years old, I was born on January 21, 2012.
I am Venezuelan, and I currently live in Barquisimeto, Venezuela.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Spanish and English, and I have basic French for now.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at age 7, stopped at age 9 due to the pandemic, and resumed at age 10.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, my mom.

In which club do you train?

I am currently at the Club Canario with the Martinez Tenis Academia.

Who are your coaches?

My tennis coach is Douglas Martinez, and my physical trainer is Alexis Pérez.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train Monday through Friday from 4-6 pm and Saturday mornings, and during vacations in the morning.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My best quality is my baseline game, and I need to improve my volley.

What is your age category and your national ranking?

I am currently ranked 27th in the 14-year-old category.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

I am aiming to qualify for the COSAT tour in Venezuela.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

For now, only in Venezuela.

Do you have any sponsors?

Not currently.

What is your goal for 2026?

To reach the Top 10 in Venezuela.

What is your tennis dream?

To bring home the first Olympic gold medal in tennis.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Novak Djokovic, Sabalenka, Jannik Sinner, Coco Gauff.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

I like to sing, dance, and play instruments.
